Ahh...Wedding Gifts, that illusive commodity which I think baffles the best of us gift givers. The couple have lived together for years and have everything. Sounds familiar? Or just starting out and need everything. Or the worst case scenario they are both coming from previous marriages and have two of everything. This is the section where all your gift giving know how must be used. First determine the scenario you are buying for. Then are you a friend of the bride or groom or both. If you are working with the couple that has everything then you must think of there house and perhaps go for something like a special candle or a subscription to a magazine they would both like. If it's for the young couple starting out the field is wide open and just about anything would be welcome. Often times these days they have a registry of gifts at a store and that is not a bad way to go. If you are friends with the bride you will likely hear of the things they are receiving and where there is an opening for you to slip in that special little niche that no one has covered. For the third couple the imagination has to really come into play. The above options for the couple that have everything are possible but perhaps going together with another couple might be another option and get them something like a weekend away, or a couples spa day. If that isn't an option how about a very special bottle of wine. As I said you have to be imaginative.
